Q: How is the FORUM different from other ADR providers?
A: The most significant difference between the FORUM and other ADR providers is our philosophy regarding arbitration. FORUM arbitrators base their decisions on applicable rules and laws. Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes defined justice as “known rules, applied consistently.” The FORUM embraces this philosophy and administers dispute resolution services founded on consistent standards and known rules: substantive laws and published rule sets. Other arbitration administrators allow decisions to be based on their arbitrators’ subjective concepts of “fairness,” which can lead to unpredictable decisions that do not follow legal precedent.

Also, our neutrals are all experienced legal experts. Our arbitrators are sworn to follow all applicable laws, codes and rules, and they typically possess many years of legal experience. And our mediators are more than just industry experts – they are retired judges and experienced attorneys.

Another key differentiator is our technological innovation. The FORUM is committed to developing and employing the most advanced case management software, ensuring that our cases are administered as efficiently as possible.

Our professional staff also distinguish us from others. They provide the highest quality service to everyone who uses our arbitration, mediation, and ADR services.
