Our Code of Procedure The FORUM created its Code of Procedure to provide a consistent framework within which arbitration disputes could be resolved. This rule set, regularly updated to capture all forward movements in the law, has been the foundation of our arbitration service for over twenty years.
“Known Rules, Applied Consistently” As applications of alternative dispute resolution—including mediation and other forms of ADR—continue to expand and multiply, the FORUM is forging partnerships with both governmental and professional organizations to administer their dispute resolution programs. While some of these programs still utilize portions of the Code of Procedure, their rule sets are distinct and require different procedures.
Justice, in the words of former Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, is “known rules, applied consistently.” This philosophy drives our success. Whether the method of resolution is arbitration, mediation, or something in between, the rule sets governing all of our programs are administered professionally, meticulously, and—most of all—consistently.
